THE MEDIUM LAND MUSIC FESTIVAL, is an international meeting of amateurs, passionate about music (electro and tribal) and tourism. A privileged moment of discovery and sharing of African musical diversity, the festival will be held in the city of Kribi in Cameroon from December 22, 2022 to January 02, 2023, in order to offer a Sound System and artistic performances to festival-goers. Avant-garde and open. TMF is the very first festival of its kind in Cameroon and will be the place to discover underground artists at the national level, but also big names of the international scene. As a major cultural event, the festival aims to promote African values and to be an educational and entertaining tool for its festival-goers, a showcase for Cameroonian artists in particular and African artists in general. It is also part of a logic of support to the local economic fabric by promoting the work of tourism professionals and the development of a national industry of music and entertainment. FOKOUA René

Fokoua René is originally from Balefok, a small village in Dschang in western Cameroon. Son of a musician father, he is rocked by traditional music since his early childhood. He started playing percussion at the age of 7. At the age of 13, he enrolled in a training center for professional DJs in Douala, a city where he had his first professional experience in a nightclub. He quickly asserted himself as an excellent Master of Ceremonies (DMC). He then left Cameroon at the age of 22 to mix in an establishment in Brazzaville, Congo. 6 months later, he participated in the opening of a nightclub in Libreville, Gabon, and became the resident DJ for 2 years. He then returned to Cameroon to play for a few years. In 2005 he continued his musical adventure in several countries, to finally land in Morocco. THE MEDIUM LAND FESTIVAL is organized with the aim of discovering and celebrating cultural differences through electro-tribal music and other media. But also, to promote African values while being an educational tool for these festival-goers.
